Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Identify potential customers and generate leads within the designated territory.
- Promote and sell the company's machinery products to clients in various industries.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure client satisfaction.
2. Customer Engagement:
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions as needed.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
3. Market Research & Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide insights and feedback to the marketing and product development teams.
4. Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
5. Coordination & Reporting:
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using CRM tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the machinery manufacturing or industrial equipment sector.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Technical understanding of machinery and industrial equipment.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Preferred:
- Experience in the Chennai market or Tamil Nadu region.
- Fluency in Tamil and English.
